I can get a flowmaster 40 series for 58 dollars brand new but I need to know where can I get the piping for a cheap price the inlet is 3inch in and 2.5 out I don't really wanna use my stock pipes because they are too rusty is this a good deal and where do I get the piping for the muffler. Meineke wants to charge me 325 $ for a flowmaster installed is this a good deal. Someone help me out on this because I will buy it tonight when I get off work if the feedback is good for the flowmaster 40 series. I would like to know whats the difference between the 80 series and 40 series is one better than the other. I really need to get this done asap because I am tired of getting my *** handed to me by nissan altimas and maximas and I am gonna run nitrous on my car but I wanna get all the safety features first then I gonna add a supercharger to the nitrous to really create some power so please someone help me out with this and where to get the piping thanks in advance

you are correct. i have the flow 40 series delta flow(single in/dual out) and it is pretty loud. i love it.
on the comparssion, only thing i know is that ive heard/was told by mechanic who installed my muffler the 40 flows better and has more of a "muscle" car sound as opposed to the quite-er(sp?) 80 series
and yes, $325 is effing ridiculous.....i bought mine and had it installed same day for $200 at just a no name place around here, watched 'em install it, havent had any problems w/itLast edited by 99 RS Camaro; 07-13-2006, 10:14 PM.\"there are things known, and things unknown, and inbetween are the doors\"-jim morrison

http://www.cardomain.com/id/99NBMCamaro

Re: flowmaster dual 40 series help please
all of the delta flow series are originally designed for trucks and SUV's but will work fine on an fbody. Our cars aren't that sensitive as far as hp when it comes to mufflers so the main thing you have to be worried about is the sound, and you can't go wrong with 40 seriesRebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...
