    well another resone i like my volant cai is that i block off the egr and routed it through my volant intake here are some pics let me what u guys thing


    2000 camaro rs:whisperlid, 2.5 magnaflow exhaust, catco high flow cat, fast toys cai, 3.73, 160 power stat, msd 8.5 wires ngk iridium spark plugs, hpp3, zzp w/p and alt. under drive pullies, 1.9 Rockers/LS6 Springs with ls1 retainers

    Looks good! So does this keep your mpg from going down when you do the egr blockoff? Or why did you do this?

      thanks i heard u lose 1 mpg but i havnt real drove around that much to fined out and the reason i did is that i wont get hot exhaust in my intake insted ill get cool air in there

          very very clevery, most people just put a little filter on it and leave it alone. good idea, and it looks great. nice job.

            It's a great Idea and I just did the same thing on my 94 Firebird with the 3.4L eariler this week...no sooner than 2 days later the d@mn filter fell off and I lost it out on the road somewhere. What a way to waste a $10 breather filter. I will need to replace it though.

              yeah, you will notice slight decrease in gas mileage, but its not too horribly bad, did you just use the high temp RTV for the blockoff, thats what i used and it seems to be holding up thus far, but i dont think its rated hot enough for exhaust, we will see how that goes, but yeah, i just kinda bent that tube down, its not like it actually sucks air, or that valve is always open, it needs air pressure to do anything, and i wouldnt swear that the valve would open at all with the lack of actual exhaust gasses going into for it to detect

                thanks every one for your comits i end up useing ultra copper high temp rtv silicone gasket maker so far so good
