I was looking at this Flowmonster high flow cat (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-00-...06409176QQrdZ1) and a Magnaflow high flow cat. I was wondering what size should I get if I don't want to trigger any check engine lights while still getting optimal performance? I do not feel like dealing with the hassel of buying an o2 sim box. Please give me your .02.

Re: High flow cat question? Need opinions.
2.5" probally wont throw a code, 3" 99% of the time will. theres really no difference between catco and the magnaflow hi-flow cats, get the cheaper one.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock<br /><br />Originally posted by Rune:<br />If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.

2.5" should not throw off the code but you need to weld in an O2 bung for the sensor if you dont want to do a simulator like i did. no one really makes a high flow cat that bolts right up.'99 Camaro Y87 M5 T-tops
