    i too have a 97, i would keep the stock intake you have, there is nonthing wrong with it.

      Ya, but I'm wanting a little more power for cheap. I figured an intake form eBay would be just fine. I just want to make sure I can beat my friend's Mustang, which I think I may already be able to.

        Remove your silencer, stop by the home depot and follow this guide

        you keep a nice clean look and the stock lid. you might squeeze out a few ponies and a guarunteed freaking awesome new intake sound when the motor is under load with the TB wide open :D
