i put a texas speed rumbler (3"), slp 3" S-pipe on my friends 99 maro, and used a 3" LT1 catco cat, i cut the cat off the y pipe and slipped the cat right onto to the y pipe with some persuation(hammer and block of wood), and used a Casper Electronics O2 simulator which was about 45 bucks, the slp S pipe doesnt come with an O2 sensor bung and i was about to weld one in, but even with the sensor in there, a 3" system has such little back pressure, it would throw a code for being Rich, so the O2 sim was the easy way out and it worked. Runs good, noticeable power increase, gas mileage is good, and pisses of the nieghbors pretty good. and other than fitting the cat onto the Y pipe which really wasnt hard, it bolted in with the SLP loud mouth adapter kit for an LT1. The pipes need to be pushed around a bit when i have some time, becuase the pipes are so big, they are closer to the trans cross member, panhard bar support and the frame, right above the axle, but nothing major

Re: Texas Speed Rumbler Install
