Well I just bought a second hand CAI from the forums for a 96 3.8, I know im going to need filter and a elbow. I know i can buy the filters from SLPonline.com, but is this elbow http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=25147going to be the right one? whats the little tube like thing in the middle of the elbow?

That's for the LT1's, I don't think it'll 3.8, but I might be wrong. Just find a 90* rubber elbow with 4" on one side and 3" on the other, and it should work. Should, as in I've been told this, but haven't done it.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

That is the one I used when I made my own homemade cold air intake. Should work for you I would think as well and a whole lot cheaper.Comment
