  • what size piping?

I'm getting a new exhaust just as soon as i find the money. I was thinking either a flowmaster 80 series (that's the dual right?) or a borla pro XS. I was thinking about taking off my cat during the exhaust install also. What is the best size piping from the manifolds to the muffler? I was going to go with 3" but i know that if it's too big you loose power. What is too big though? is 3" my best bet?

    Re: what size piping?

You better off with 2.5" if you plan on keeping your car n/a. If you going to go FI then get 3".

This question has been beaten to death here. Do a quick search for more info and opinions.
