I am ordering catco 6006 for 55.99 and flowmaster 17358 for 304.99 all from summit racing. Are these decent prices? Will these items work with my 99 3.8? It has stock manifolds which will be swapped to headers next year. Also I have read a lot about the 02 sensor and that I need an 02 sensor bung??? My father will be helping me install it and once we get it all adjusted my uncle is going to weld everything up. Sorry if this has already been answered before but my job doesn't bring in a lot of money so this is a decent chunk of my paychecks and I just want to make sure that everything works and that I didnt order the wrong parts. Thanks!

Re: Ordering exhaust and cat...couple questions
anyone?????? I have searched the forums but I cant find out if its 2.5 or 3 inch from my manifolds. If it's 3 inch I can't find a cat that is 3 in and 2.5 out....only 2.5 in and out.

Re: Ordering exhaust and cat...couple questions
there is a ton of info on this. get a 3" in/out cat, get a 3" mandrel u pipe from jegs with a 5" radius. cut that in half, flip it aroundto make an s, and re weld it. from there any exhaust shop will just make u a reducer from the s-pipe to your i-pipe1997 Camaro LS1 RS

unless you want to put in an 02sim, you will need to get a bung so you can install your post cat sensor after the swap.
