  • 0-60 times??!!

OK i have a 97 RS Camaro, A5, with 3.42 gears and have been accurately timing the 0-60 ad have been getting a little over 8 seconds! is tht normal? i thought low 7's. only thting i can think of its all stock except for exhaust which consists of pipes and no muffler which might lose power due to backpressure, wut u guys think?

What is your altitude? You said A5...I'm assuming you meant to say A4. How many miles on your car? Has it been beat to hell? Removing your stock muffler is not gonna hurt your power at all if you still have the stock manifolds, y pipe, cat, S pipe, I pipe, and overaxle pipe. Not a problem.

the manufactorers claim of 0-60 in around 7.4 is with a professional launch and probably on a manual. a slp cai or any cai helps more when traveling at 30mph+ due to more air being slammed into the filter location, i notice it on the highway more
