  • tsp rumbler + no cat= nasty

ok so ive had the rumbler for about 4 or 5 months now and have loved it. sounded awsome and flowed very well. i find out my cat is clogged so i just decided to get it removed and use an o2 sim. bad choice. i go to pick up my car, the muffler guy says " its a good bit louder now", and i kinda shrug it off. i go crank my car and notice a louder rumble at idle which i love. then i rev it up to about 4500 and about throw up on myself. i have never heard so much rasp in my life. now dont get me wrong i still love the rumbler i just dont like it comboed with no cat. still havent decided what im going to do yet but something has to be done. on a good side note though, i took my car out street racing and finally sprayed the 100 shot. car felt much stonger without the cat at least. feels insane, now to just try to lessen the rasp.

Maybe you could put on a resonator to decrease the rasp if you want to keep the cat off.

Get a HIGH FLOW CAT and solve your problem.

go to summit racing, you can pick up the cat and o2 sim for less than 70 bucks.

you'll be happier with the catco cat, i have it and the rumbler, and it sounds awesome, i get compliments from people all the time, asking me who did the exhaust and what not.

no one ever seems to understand how much rasp cat's get rid of untill they remove the cat. id either get a hi-flow cat, or get a bullet and put it there. i have a picture of the dynomax bullet ( same thing thats in your rumbler ) in my thread about my exhuast, they're cheap and you wont lose as much power as if you go with a hi-flow cat.
