just want to know everyone's thoughts on the K & N intake system is it worth the $300 price tag or it will the whisper lid yield same results just less money.

I put a carbon fiber whisper lid on and it looks sweet. I was also looking at the K&N but wasn't sure if I liked the way the filter is exposed. It's probably just a matter of preference though. I'm sure they are comparable to each other. Maybe someone with a K&N can chime in.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph
