  • K & N vs Whisper Lid

    just want to know everyone's thoughts on the K & N intake system is it worth the $300 price tag or it will the whisper lid yield same results just less money.

      I put a carbon fiber whisper lid on and it looks sweet. I was also looking at the K&N but wasn't sure if I liked the way the filter is exposed. It's probably just a matter of preference though. I'm sure they are comparable to each other. Maybe someone with a K&N can chime in.

        K&n's and whispers make about the same power, but a blocked off whisper lid with the ram air intakes will yeild better results for less money.

        Also the k&n is exposed to alot of hot air under the hood

          how bout if i make my intake piping but using the stock lid but will a k & n filter, i already have ram air, yield same results? if so alot cheap option

            Cheapest is to just buy a k&n filter, some 3" tube and coupling. Search summit for the different filters.
