i bought a 3 in round pvc pipe 5' long and cut it to about 3.5 inches in length from home depot, and a 3 x3 flexible hard rubber tubing also from home depot in the plumbing depart. i then took off the lid and cut the little middle piece inside the lid. i then used the stock inlet housing where the air sensor plug, plugs into and put the pvc pipe a 1/4 inside that and then 1/2 int othe rubber tubing so that 1/4 in was visble and kabam! you own custom intake for less than $12 and if you get a k & n filter and slp ram air it yield's better results. saves you atleast $100 than spending it on the whisper lid for the same performance. email me at 5pointslow@earthlink.net for pics
