I just installed a flowmaster 40 series on my car, way better sound then the flowmaster 80 series, I also have RK Sport headers, 3" pipe, 18 " resonator, gutted cat, and the VS cam. The only problem i have is trying to route the pipe to the passenger side since both outlets are are the drivers side. So I left the tips off for now and I'm running just the mufler for now with no tips. There was Zero rasp through the gears and when reving it.
I'll get some sound clips when our new digital camara comes this week. Any one have pics of their 40 series installed and how to route the piping?

It should be right , they don't make the 40 series like the 80 series with a out let on each side, the 40 series has the outlets on the drivers side. I knew this but just wanted to see how the 40 series sounded before I started making new pipes for the tips.

I've never seen a crossflow 40 series. I have the super 40 with the outlets on the same side like you. Use a setup like the magnaflow exhaust. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/parts/15693_lg.jpg
Sounds insanely deep and mean when cruising. Not so hot when I get the revs up high.
IDOVooDoo thanks for that pic of the magaflow, I had in mind something of that sort but that makes up my mind on how to run it.I also looked on flowmasters website and could not find a 40 series that has an outlet on each side like the 80 series, post a link or part # if you can find one. Thanks
I'll post a sound clip when my wife gets her new camara this week which has video and audio.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
