TB Length

Is the length for a 3.8 TB about 4"? Im thinking of puttn together a homemade CAI. First Im going to buy the 90 deg reducer elbow that has been suggested before from intakehose.com. So will I need the 4"-3" reducer?

5 3/4" total length is what I measured on my 96 3.8

Man, that stinks, I thought I read some1 was able to slap on the 4"-3" reducer elbow, and hook up their own CAI kit...

I heard the diameter is like 3 3/4, but the 4" can be tightened down enough to get a good fit.

Thanks. Yeah, I just dont see spending the $250 ona SLP kit, when I can buy the 90 elbow reducer, an angled pipe, and I already have a filter. So m going to giv e this a shot
