Is magnaflow exhaust worth $100 more than Flowmasters?

I'm researching exhaust systems, and the magnaflow system that I like is $100 more than the flowmaster 2.5" system. Is it worth it to go for the magaflow, or is the flowmaster just as good? BTW, I'm interested in both nice sound and better performance.

in my opinion i think magnaflow sounds like sh** on our cars, sound to much like rice, i have flowmaster and i love it

i think flowmaster just sounds a little better, but is more restrictive

I say you need to listen to exhaust clips to decide your chioce on that and Magnaflow flows better. Search the sound clip sticky

I think it is woth 100 more even thought, yes it does sound worst then a flowmaster but you get more power from a magnaflow.

I just installed the Flowmaster system on my car. I think it sounds great! Nice rumble, but not obnoxiously loud. You can pick the system up at www.sdpc2000.com for about $260.

Flowmaster. I thought my car sounded like a ricer until my friend drove it up and down a road for me, running it up high. Of course it doesn't sound like a V8 but it is far from a ricer. Sounds sweet. Get the flowmaster from SDPC and a high flow cat.
