As many of you know...The Flowmaster system comes with the box looking resonator. Where should I install the cut-out...Before or After the resonator? Or I thought of replacing the resonator with the cut-out. What do you think?

i put mine after the resonator, if i did it again i would put it instead of the resonator though1997 Camaro LS1 RS

i highly recommend replacing the resonator with the cutout or just straight pipe. It'll make it sound 10 times better. Be aware it will be much louder too even with the cutout closedComment

what size cutout do you need if you replaced the resonator with the cutout?

2.5".. You might need a little extra piping too to fill in where the resonator was depending how long the main pipe on the cutout is.Comment
