I was thinking about doing something different with my intake. Right now I have piping going down underneath where the stock air box is and down in that whole and my air filter sitting out in the open. I was thinking of putting my air filter right on the throttle body for maximum air flow. The only problem is the air intake temperature sensor. I saw online that you could buy an air intake temperature relocator kit. I was thinking of just making my own ait relocator kit by just removing the sensor and extending the wires. But what I don't know is where to put the sensor?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

don't do it. You would be sucking in hot air instead of cold

Yeah but by the time the air gets to the engine it has to be pretty warmed up.

but the air near the corners are a lot colder than right infront of the radiator and engine and will not warm much as it very quickly travels up the intake tube and into the engine.

yea your intake tube doesn't warm up that much compared to the hot air chillin in front of your engine.

            Re: custom intake

if you put an airfilter directly onto the throttle body youll have all kinds of problems...

No where to put IAT sensor
car will randomly die "mine did when i tried it"
will suck in hot *** air, you will lose power.
And it won't filter dirt out as well

Get a lid, filter, !maf screen, and ram air intake and youll have all the air you need.
