Well, went for an hour drive today (highway, somewhat reasonable pace)
For a while now, at about 1000 RPM offa redline, there is a noise, sounds like baffling rattling in a rotted muffler, but it sounds like its coming from the front.
Im sure the kitty is just shot though, as whenever it gets over about that 3500 line, all I hear is that rotten baffling noise.
Does this sound like ive made the right assumption?
Then, what do you suggest I get for a cat? Ive thought about taking it right out, but I was told, that it isnt to good for the system if I were to do that, and I should at least put some form of a cherry bomber, or blue bottles in as a replacement?
(I have a Borla on her now, but I think I might get a new muffler too while im at it, as I dont really care for the sound, and want to try something else, but I guess I'll see after the cat is replaced).
