Which headers will give me the most preformance gains???

I have done some minor exhaust work and want to go for headers next, what do you guys suggst?

after market headers offer minimal gains, but pacesetters work for me.

if its 2000+ you will be fine with those headers, or wait a few weeks till i sell mine.

For the 3.8 the RKSports and Pacesetter offer the largest primaries.
RKSports are known for leaking although mine did not.

Pacesetters are probably the best bang for the buck for us 3.8 guys as far as headers go!

pacesetter are great. the only problem with after market headers is the fact that we blow egr gaskets. so i say just do the block off.

up until now, pacesetters have pretty much been the best bet. however... CIA recently put their 3.8 headers back on the market, and they are by far the best quality, and most people have also found them to have the best performance gains. you do, however, pay for the quality. it comes out to something like $600 with the custom y-pipe.

CIA's are only for the 98+, right...? Thats why I was asking what year the car was.

all the 3.8's are the same. CIA's will work on 95-02 3.8l cars.

I drive a 97 Camaro, its just the series 2 engine

go to your local machine shop and ask them to fab up a set of long tubes, of course you'll have to relocate the brake booster, and ditch your a/c, but the extra torque you'll get will be worth it

or you could just get a set of pacesetters, they work great for me, but as a suggestion have them ceramic or jet hot coated and get copper gaskets.

they are a good mod because they increase the effenciency of your future mods. say you get a cam that would give you 15hp without headers, you might get 20 with headers.

WRONG!!

CIA headers will NOT clear the A/C piping on the 95-97 engine.

So you would suggest the pacesetter system, and i should get a noticable amount of power out of them? what would these cost me?
