for a cheap intake for you 3.4L i suggest this one.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-94...QQcmdZViewItem cheaper and further away from engine compartment with means cooler air. I bought my CAI from them but the 3.8L version wish was a full intake from throttle body into and under the engine compartment. lower than the SLP CAI. heres a pics.. good luck
Sorry to revive the old post, but did either of u notice any power or sound differences with the ChromeIntakes CAI?
I was thinking about once cuz i'm a poor college kid and cant afford K&N

Just go ahead and buy it. You know you're going to get some performance increase from it, and they're fairly cheap, so what're you losing? If you get the complete one that goes into the fenderwell and takes out the silencer, than you should see a pretty good gain from it. And it will sound different, just ebcause it's sucking in te air faster, and doesn't have that silencer.
I have the ss hood would i be better off buying a whisper lid/slp lid or a cold air intake
depends on the year.. i have an 01 with an fipk and i cut a hole in the raidatior support and added an slp ram air and i prefer it over the lid but if you had an older model with a ss hood i may go with the lid
with the ss hood on an 00 i would prefer the fipk but its all up to who you talk to alot of guys love their lids i feel i am getting a much better gain with me set up though

Back from the dead but...
I want to know did you have to relocate your inake air sensor for this to work. I'm looking at one of these off ebay for the 3.4. The IAT for the 3.4 is on the rubber 90* elbow so i'm not sure how it would work. Also these things look a little filimsy. Do they hold up well?
I came across this today searching for an intake for my 94 3.4. The intake comes strait from the throttle body instead of connceting to the stock rubber up. It look nice but do you guys think it would hold up? Also what about the IAT sensor. It doesn't look like its hooked up unless its on the bottom. Do you think it is worth the 60 bucks. Also this intake comes with a "Chromeintakes" filter. Do you think i should just get a k@n cone filter or do you think that those knockoff ones are ok.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
