  • deep creep?

So i'm in the middle of seafoaming my car and i bought the deep creep stuff that sticky told me to buy. I searched on the deep creep stuff, but it wasn't saying much about the MAF screen(?)[the screen on the TB, i assume that's MAF right?] I read in one post to not spray anything into the TB, and just skip that step, but it was on the writeup.

So if i would benifit from the deep creep in my TB, i need to remove the screen, and i read up and know how to do that via search, but i want a last call from others' experiances whether or not i should do deep creep or not, and any tips you have on it.

please don't tell me to search, i already have and this is what i'm left wondering.

    Re: deep creep?

i followed the instructions on the can and spray it inside. it helped with my car, i got better startup and response from it. it won't hurt it btw.

If you're afraid of it hurting the MAF, then take the MAF out. I know on mine (97 3.8 Camaro), the whole MAF assembly comes out form the top, so just pull it out from there and then spray the deep creep into it. If you do do it this way, be careful with the MAF. Touching the little wires inside the cage thing will ruin it. I haven't done this, so I'm not too sure if it would work, but I would think it would.
