alright guys i wanted to switch my exhaust up a little and was looking into just buying the loudmouth 1 resonator and sticking it where the cat would go if i had 1 and chopping the exhaust off right after the rear axle, my only worries are bad back pressure, TOO loud, and loss of hp, i currently have the 40 series flowmaster catback, no cat, and love the performance and sound, but being me it isnt quite loud enough, opinions..? or am i just being loopy..

Re: opinions on slp loudmouth resonator
so, you just want louder? that might be a little hard to get it louder but not affect the tone. what is in place of your stock cat now? 3" pipeing? 2.25" piping? what kinda of tips do you have? ive read a few times ( shirl's post being the most recent ) that stock z28 tips seem to add a bit of volume.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock

Originally posted by Rune:
If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.

hm, you could run a 3" pipe from the stock y ( which is 3") back to right before the " over the axle " peice. you wont lose power and that will definalty make it a little louder.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock

Originally posted by Rune:
If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.
