K, I got in an accident recently, deer hit me! Luckily I was right down the street from my house, and I was only going about 20mph. Hood was damaged, so I finally got the ram air hood sitting in my garage put on for free :P (well, I had to pay my insurance deductable).
So I'm lookin at the air box kit that came with it... I have a couple questions.
First, this is a Suncoastcreations WS6-Style hood w/ air box.
1. Remove Factory airbox and upper radiator shroud from vehicle.
2. Mount new upper radiator shroud supplied with kit (FIG1, RS).
Mount new upper radiator shroud supplied with kit huh... I dunno if I got that :/
What I got, it looks like just the air box. It's 2 peices, the top peice is just basically a square (of course it's open) and has 2 bolts in the back. These 2 bolts attach to the bottom of the airbox.
So I looked under the hood, my stock air box looks like it's part of the upper radiator shroud. Maybe I'm not looking at the right part? I'd like to hope so, because I think I'm going to have to buy a upper radiator shroud for a z28 or trans-am.
Am I going to have to buy this? and Where can I buy this?
