my headers suck

:rant: correction not the headers but the process of getting them in is thoroughly pissing me off.

got the manifolds off without any problems in fact it only took me about 2 hours to get those off... so ofcourse something else has to go wrong right. yeah. the bolts for the y pipe are TOO long... so those wont connect and be up and snug as they are supposed to be. go out and buy new bolts and new nuts and everything like that and for some reason they wont thread right... 5/16 - 24 for both the bolts and the nuts but NO it wont work cuz it doesnt love me. :bs: im not happy right now. my car has be on jack stands for almost a week now.

oh and i broke my EGR piping stuff... :rant: so i brought the little plates to a friends and we welded the holes shut so now i have an EGR block off going on right now... both the exhaust and the intake side. :rant: im so annoyed right now... thinking about just bringing the car to a friend so he can do it. will only cost me $60 but i think itd be worth it at this point. !!!!

sucks man, just pay your friend to do it and get the install over with before something else happens

so i did a bunch of research and none of the problems i ran into were ever listed. also i never saw anything mentioning that there is a clearance issue with the drivers side header and the steering column. the pacesetter stamp thats welded to the header is catching the pivot and its causing some interesting little quarps with my steering. it sucks. but im trying to remove that stamp and then it should be fine. i was having a problem with cylinder 4 not firing but turned out to be just a bad wire... got that **** fixed right quick though.

brought it to my buddy ryan and he got it up in there easy and now the car sounds meaner than ever.
