I am wanting to put duals on my car and I am wondering how the hanger configuration differs from my single. Alos where and how do I get the hangers. Do must people just use autosone universals or do you buy the ones like I have on there now?
Also does anyone know where I can get knock off corsa tips because I think those look freaking bad!
You may have a single exhaust now, but there should be 2 hangers underneath the car holding up the stock muffler. You shouldnt need any more hangers though you may need to bend them when you put another muffler on to make it look better. Far as the tips I know afterthoughtsauto.com sells the normal Coasa tips kind of cheap.
There should indeed be two hangers. Unfortuantley for me one of them was removed at some point so i've got a jerry-built passenger side one instead. Either way it shouldn't matter cuz any competant muffler shop should be able to make you one from scratch.
[EDIT] If you have the single exit exhaust there should only be one hanger, but there should be two hanger brackets.
Yeah it does have 2 hanger brakets on both sides, it looks like one on top of the other. And there is 1 hanger on each side. But I am more talking about where the exhaust tips are farther back it looks like there are 2 or 3 holes in the frame and I am woondering if I need exhaust hangers there and which ones would be least visible. I wil post a icture later on today because I amgoing out to put in my new TR-55 and Taylor blue wires.

Typically if you have the singlein/dual out muffler, they'll use the two hangers to suspend the tail pipes where they bend towards the back of the car. Those two brackets are all you need.
