    I looked into this, and sold the LS1 TB I had bought. Need to machine a custom adapter plate. And what do you intend to use for the MAF? A LS1? Need to reprogram the PCM. Throttle cable connections.

    BTW this is on a 95-98, if you try this on a 99+ with the electronic TB the issues get 100x worse.

    Not worth it. Waste of money.

      fwiw, a larger tb will not 'pressurize' the intake manifold. you'll lose velocity, and actually hurt power, and throttle response. 65mm is plenty big enough for n/a. my .02

        your half right, throttle response will drop, so will low end torque. high rpms might benefit but most h/c ls1's are on the stock 78mm t/b 90mm is overkill even on them unless they are F/I.

        best bet is a hit of juice.
