  • headers and cat back question

i have a 97 rs, and im thinking about getting a set of pacesetter headers, and a flowmaster american thunder cat back set up. my question is, how much of a difference would these make? and iv read about the pacesetter's and the egr problems... how big of a problem is that?

not that big of a problem. There are better kits than the flowmaster though.

I didnt even know there was a problem, biggest problem is getting the header gasket to seal well. Make sure to get some locking header bolts and coat them in red RTV, no leaks, ftw.

what kits would u consider better than a flowmaster? i've been doin some search. ive been looking for the deepest, most aggressive sounding exhaust, that is also good performance wise. what would u recommend?

I will agree with you. The flowermasters are a good choice, and it's really all about what you like and want. Also, look into edelbrock as well, those sound nice, though I am uncertain of how much of a gain you will recieve with it. I just love the sound of it :)
