Re: Stupid people much??
yes they are right, 3" is overkill for a v6 unless you are pushing serious power with a turbo or supercharger

Re: Stupid people much??
3" is to much, you loose your bottom end grunt with all that backpressure gone. I would go with the 2.5" piping unless you are planning on turbo or sc in the near future

Re: Stupid people much??
It won't hurt you any but as 97rs said unless your pushing a turbo or supercahrger it's overkill. Your not going to get a benefit out of 3" so unless your planning on a power adder like super or turbo just stick with the 2 1/2"Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

Re: Stupid people much??
Here's a question why post a thread asking for information and when given that information, obviously not what you were looking for, you argue for it. Here's a thought why ask just do. If your heart is set on 3" there is a **** load of suppliers out there. Get one for a Z28 and it will bolt on, 99% sure. That would save everyone a lot of time.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
