Throttle Position Sensor

The V6 is acting up...(again) big shocker there :mad: its not been running right, so he had it hooked up for diagnostics and it says its the throttle postion sensor...This will be the 2nd one for the car in the past month....is there anything that could be re-ocurringly foul the sensor? like the actual wires tto the censor are bad, or is there like a bigger sensor i could get? i was just wanderin if N E one could help ...thanks!

These are just cheap little parts. Just buy one with a lifetime warranty and when it starts acting up get another. I went through two of them before I got a good one. It has been running great now for about the past 4 months.

Mine acted up on me after I tuned my car after the cam install. Luckily I sliped my car in under warranty and they fixed it, but the sucky side was they had to replace the whole TB. Also try having the censor in the accelerator pedal checked cuz that could be messing up as well because I had to have that replaced at the same time as the TB part. It could be either one or both.
