I was reading grayman's webpage regarding exhaust and he talks about a 3" magnaflow cat with a O2 sensor bung in it (part number 94039). I was wondering what would work better with headers, this cat which allows reinstallation of the O2 sensor or a catco cat with no O2 bung and an O2 sim? Will both prevent an SES code with the headers? Or will the magnaflow with the O2 sensor still throw the code simply because of the higher flowing headers compared to stock?

You are correct. It is quite possible, but doesn't always happen, that it will throw a code due to the rather large difference in the lessened amount of back pressure you would now have.

does not effect performance. you can either get a o2 sim or delete the code<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2151539/1\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2151539/1</a>
