O.k...so i am getting a 2 1/2 flowmaster set up and ahigh flow cat. I was trying to think of ways to tone down the rasp that the flowmasters are infamous for. I was wondering what a dynomax bullet would do and sound like if i placed it on the I-pipe? I am planningon adding headers this spring also. It would pretty much be Headers into the y-pipe into ahigh-flow cat into the s-pipe than the dynomax bullet into the 80 series flowmaster. What are your thoughts on this. Its prolly a dumb idea, but it is an idea.

Re: Need your input
I know a lot of people dislike the Flowmaster set up, but I like it a lot. It comes with a resonator in the shape of a box that reduces the rasp. I personally like the sound a lot...especially after the exhaust is broken in a little.

Re: Need your input
I wanted to install a resonator on the i-pipe, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. The rasp really gets on my nerves, and I'd like to tone it down a bit.
If you install a resonator, please post a sound clip if you can. I'd like to hear the outcome.sigpic
