K&n Cai??

So me and my freind are debating on what to buy first...

i allready have exhasut...and now have the money to buy either CAI, or stage 2 jet chip..


what would u guys suggest i buy first?

and why?

out of those two I would go with the jet chip. It will give you more bang for the buck while the CAI will compliment the other changes you make.

I say get the lid since there's still some speculation about the effect of a chip...there's no debating that a CAI is good

Intake if it was my money, it will clean up that engine bay and is a good supporting mod. The chip can only take you so far.

a '99 can support either a whisperlid or K&N CAI

Go with the CAI, or a whisper lid. It's the basic starting ground for all mods. The JET chip will only take you so far, but you are going to need the CAI eventually, so why not buy it now?

On the other hand, since it's only a supporting mod, it doesn't really matter how much you spend on this, as all CAI's are going to produce near the same results. So, I would go cheap with this, and then maybe you will still have enough for your JET chip.
