rasp?

what exactly creates rasp? is there a way to get rid of it? is there a muffler that deletes rasp? thanks all!

the exhaust note is mostly created by the firing order of the cylinders. V8's have a deep tone because two of the cylinders fire at the same time...therefore, it is impossible for a V6 to sound like a V8. No muffler can completely eliminate rasp

Yea, rasp sucks. Although mine isnt bad even with me not having a cat on the car it still anoys me. There is no way of getting rid of it completely, but it can be reduced pending on what exhaust setup you go with.

yea, but it'll also create restriction. You have to chose...wanna be fast or sound good

im propably deleting the cat and adding a resonator...so its nearly the same restriction as if it had a cat only :)

The cat will actually cut rasp more than a resonator. Unfortunatly a stock cat removes almost All rasp!

Has anyone tried having headers, catback, and stock cat? If so anyone have a clip?
