    Cat question

    Hey tried searching.... but couldn't find the answer, maybe I'm special......

    Do they make cats different size of inlets and outlets, I have a 2.5 inch MagnaFlow cat back, and want a 3' in and 2.5' out, if they don't do that I need a ? (cant remember the name of it.) to shrink up so it will fit. Thanks in advance.

      I've never seen them different sizes like that, but you can buy reducers tho.

        i just bought a universal 3in in 3in out cat co cat off of ebay and when i had my headers installed i had them put it on, they had no problem

        Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

              They obviously make them. Thats what comes on our car, 3 in and 2 1/2 out.

                    You sure about that 2.25. Im pretty sure the cat outlet is 2.5 and the stock pipe is 2.25. My 2.5 catback actually flars out on the end and mates right up to the cat. I think its 2.5 OD.

                      When I had my cat put in last week, the guy at Midas said my stock cat was 2.5 out and 3 in. It looked to be 2.5 going into 2.25 stock pipe.

                        you can buy almost any size in/out. just look around online and ask around at shops. you will find what you are looking for.
