Did you notice a very decent gain in performance, was it worth the money?

It is worth every single penny. Even if they cost $400 I would still buy them. They are a great addition to have, and sound great on our cars. I promise you won't regret it, unless you don't also pickup Abbott Racing's headers gasket $35 shipped.

the gains are substantial over log-style manifolds

Wow, what I don't understand is how the 97 F-bodies are rated the same as the 98 F-bodies when there is that much of a massive difference between the stock manifolds... It makes me wonder to myself if there is a difference in the tuning, like if the 98 does not make more power than the 97 even given the added flow, is it tuned down to make less power to match the previous year? Also the one-piece driveshafts they added later to the V6 F-bodies, is there a substantial difference, from say, a 96 Camaro, hardtop, 5speed to its 2002 counterpart in terms of acceleration, despite the same horsepower rating?
\'97 Camaro M5 Y87 3.23 LSD, homebrew CAI, highfloCat, Flowmaster catback, Pacesetter headers, specstage3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, !egr, 2kW system.

Possible L67 bottom end w/ abbott heads and a turbo in the works... gotta do more homework
