Man, I don't know why people seem to hate flowmaster. I have even heard people say it robs horse power (Even though it actually frees up quite a bit of power). I've had mine on my camaro for over a year without a problem and on my 65 mustang for 5 years with no problem.

flowmaster is well known for being one of the worst flowing aftermarket mufflers out there.

indeed. maybe no so much on our cars, becuase most of us arent putting out alot of power, but on bigger motors/more power flowmaster sucks. ive seen dyno sheets of people switching, search around, you'd be surprised how much they hold back 330ish+ hp cars.

The only place i have a little experience in is flowmaster an how i sum it up is, they suck!! Sound ok when you first pop them on your car an look good for the first year. Then the rust starts settling right in and another year later.. Boom! You have yourself a blow Flowmaster exhaust and 300+/- dollars down the drain. w00t for the Flowmaster

I've had my flowmaster on for almost three years now and it still sounds the same and has no rust.
