i was wanting to get a good, decently loud, muffler for new set up and i was wondering if anyone knew what the inside of this muffler looks like, is it almost straight through or what? it is a "RACE" muffler so i figured it cant be that resrictive at all...
I would guess it's probably just a pipe going diagonally from input to output, and it's just surrounded by sound deadening material and vented some. don't know anything about that one in particular though.

it sais in one of his posts further down its the summit turbo muffler, not the race muffler, it sounds pretty good though i forgot about his post about that, we'll see what i find out about this first though
right, that guy had a summit turbo muffler which is like a dynomax. The muffler in the link is a chambered muffler. A turbo muffler is most likely to flow a little better and be a little quieter. A chambered muffler isn't gonna have any fiberglass to control the sound and will sound good when idling and just cruising, but more raspy/obnoxious up top.
