custom longtubes?

ok there are a few things i want to know. first, whats the advantages of longtube headers over midtubes? are there any? also, where can i find a header flange for a 3800 series 2? ive looked everywhere...:bs:

Advantages I believe of longer tubes is to provide a little more toque. Not sure about the flanges but if you can pick up a set of stock exhaust manifolds you could just cut them to utilize the flanges.

Well, Im pretty sure they work I got the link from a guys turbo setup at fullthrottle, Turningfast.

you might want to check with Lance @ Abbott Racing Heads.

He has a set of custom long tubes.
