  • cat or bullett muffler?

So I've gone the route of a 3" pipe and S-pipe, pacesetter headers and a sa-weet summit turbo 3"in/single 3" out muffler. Going for some P&P heads and GT2 gam and supporting mods for that.

So anyway what do you think will give it a throatier sound, a carsound cat or a glasspack or some other muffler in its place? I'm leaning towards the muffler and an o2 sim.

dont put a glasspack there. go with a bullet or a highflow cat. bullet will flow more so more power, but will probally rasp/pop more. if you have to worry about instpection just get a hi-flow cat, they flow great and you dont have to worry about failing inspection.

sounds like a plan... im going for that magnaflow cat after all, that with the 3" in/out summit turbo muffler and my headers should make a nice sound on the stroker motor im building.
