Here is a dyno chart of a Grand Prix 3800 series II with the K&N Intake system for that car...it says it gained 13.37hp, but it looks like either it was a GTP or it was at the crank b/c the total dyno hp was 216.09...is a K&N CAI this efficient on our cars?
Well on some vehicles...............imports especially, a CAI does help it's Hp tremendously more than our cars. And still it's the support for all other base mods. That is why most "ricers" you see, the main things they have done to their car at first is get their CAI and a bumblee catback exhaust.
some cai's only sound good for a lil while mine made a cool noise for a lil while and then i stopped hearing it idk what happend cuz i really liked the sound it made...
