  • The bird has a new sound

I just got back from the exhaust shop. I put on a set of Pacesetter headers and 3" in/out Catco this weekend. I had a 3" S-pipe made that would slip over the 2.5" Flowmaster cat back that was already on the car. I had the resonator removed and welded up the joints. He went from the S-pipe to the over axle pipe with 3". Total cost for shop work was $45.00

For the most part I love the sound. It does get just a little loud in the car from around 3000-4000 RPM, but all in all it has a nice sound.http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oID=1753221345

They installed the headers and everything for only 45 bucks?!?!? Header install alone usually fetches a boatload cuz it is a pretty slow and painful process that most shops hate doing.

No I installed everything. They welded the joints and replaced the resonator.

They only put the front two bolts in and hoped the rest in the system would hold it in place.
