can anyone tell me if running a single pipe and bullet type muffler off each header can add better HP gain's or better sounds then using a y pipe ?

also what ballpark/rough HP gain will all these gain combined?

    header's
2.5" from header's back with no cat
    cold air intake
    under drive pulley

also..question for "98camaro3.8" which cam gave you that sound in the "sound clip" section?
how much HP did you get with it? and what can i expect to pay for one?
    if you dont mind answering

    Re: new exhaust

sounds like to me you're going for a true duals setup...but there's a few hiccups in your plan. First, you're gonna need a H- or X-pipe set up to balance the pressure in the two tubes. Second, bottoming-out on a regular basis is going to become a reality for you. Third, a true duals setup is much heavier than the traditional exhaust setup because of the extra pipes and cats, so much so that it may offset any additional horsepower you make...well, in application. If you're building a dyno-queen, the added exhaust weight won't matter, but if you're building a track car, a dual outlet exhaust is much more practical/effective

thank's for the H pipe info , i never woulda thought of that..i owned a truck with just straight pipe's & bullet style muffler's off the header's and it rumble'd..
so if it'll help ,not hurt and be possible i'd like to give this sewing machine a little more thunder..tired of ignoring the guy's who give the gas a stab when they see my car coming....ready to add some *** to this little v6

everything i mentioned in my first post i want to do this weekend...but i need some help with the cam..

      also....is cam/port polish'd head's cheaper or more expensive then a turbo?

and which will yield more HP? assuming i only have the existing head's reworked
