Plus your y-pipe is 3 inch anyways, so its bottlenecking anyways... yeah..
correct. The exhaust manifold (primaries) are very small (like 1.25"?). Then the header 2 y-pipe is like 2.75" on both. Then the Y turns into like a 2.25" right before it merges. Then the y-pipe turns into a 3" where it connects to the 3" cat (and the stock cat inlet is 3"). Its alot of bottlenecking.
But Flow speed and CFM is really what matters.

So what you guys are saying is i should put on a 3in/3out cat then a 3in S-pipe. then a reducer pipe right after the s-pipe to reduce it back down to 2.25in. right?
since were kinda on the subject, anybody running a high flow 3" cat, 3 inch s pipe, and 3" borla cat back? if you are are you satisifed with its performance/sound, if you have any sound clips could you send them to me, thanx alot
