      ive used the PARTS for an intake once, its now on my girlfriends car lmao! theyre just small tubes of plastic mabye 2.5 inch and scratch real easy... i built a better intake out of heating duct that was 4 inch aluminum for under 10 bucks why not just do that..

        I'm not sure if it's the same thing we are talking about here, but I was in Autozone the other day and saw on the what I call "Ricer" isle some tubing (it was shiny) with aluminum plating it seemed. I hope these weren't the parts for the "custom intake" because each piece of tubing cost like 19.99 which could make just building a full CAI cost up to 60 - 80 dollars.

        That's still on the cheaper side of buying a known house name CAI but, you would just think it should be cheaper for that crap tubing. I'll be going back to see if it was actual plating or really aluminum.
