nope its real, and it dosnt really matter what intake you get it will pretty much be the same gain...

I am also pondering on of those because it ultimately does what its supposed to, bring air straight to your engine without any restrictions

I don't want to go to home depot, its kinda of what I have now. I want things to look pretty decent under the hood instead of a bunch of makeshift items. Call it vanity, but thats just me.
