im about to buy pacesetter headers for my camaro... a buddy of mine and i are gunna take a saturday and install them, i kno theres a hp gain but how much of it is noticable?
im still wonderin if pacesetter is the way 2 go... who should i go thru 2 get the headers... i was thinking lm performance.com...
headers are headers you wont see any gaping performance from one to the other, they are a good mod tho, will really free up the exhaust and also help the tone of the exhaust.
it depends on what kind of engine you have the 3.4 engine will get a decent hp increase maybe alittle more than 10 - 15 HP. But the 3.8 engines already come with tubular manifolds so you'll only get like a 5 - 10 HP increase if that, so not the best upgrade for the money on a 3.8. but headers will deepen the sound on either engine. Just make sure you do it right and watch for exhaust leaks!

only 2000+ came with tubular mani's
and 10-15 rwhp for teh 3.4 is definetly not refering to RWHP, maybe at the crank that much.
exhaust leaks are common with the headers, do not over tighten them or they will warp. and use good gaskets.
i've had my pacesetters for over 2 years now and the only problem that i've had was my egr started to leak a few months ago. which was fine for me cause i just wanted to block it off anyway. spend a few buck and order the block off plates from zzp.
