Ya im from IL and it is illegal u need to get a muffler.... im runnin the loudmouth II with magnaflow cat... Sounds great.. but the police do notice u a bit more lol i havent got pulled over for it but idk the hole thing is welded and i think it sounds amazing! not to much rasp either
if your wanting your car to be LOUD then have them put a small cut out before the exhaust gets to where the muffler is mounted... trust me its loud and very very mean sounding. when i had to get a new muffler i just had it hangin there chilling all mounted up but didnt have it welded or even clamped and at about 3000 grand it hit the note that you cant hear a single thing.
its pretty sweet. this is with edelbrock cat back, pacesetters and a catco HFC. :tup:
i actually went with the 2 pipes into one and it sounds absolutely sweet, doesnt get ricey til about 4500 RPM, and i also found out i have eidbrach (sp?) springs with a 1" drop on my car! lol hopefully i can find a way to get soem pics/sounds up!
