i have a 1994 firebird 3.4 i added an intake and i am looking for the best way to make the car sound as close to a v8 as possible i took the muffler off but obviously that doesnt work but at least people hear me coming now so if anybody has any ideas please let me no

the best way to make your car sound like a V8, is to put a V8 in it... aside from that borla and magnaflow sound good IMO. theres also a sticky at the top of this forum that has sound clips from many different exhaust systems, so i suggest you listen to that and choose which sound you like the best

I've always been told by shops that there's no way to make a V6 sound just like a V8. I have a video of the Magnaflow Catback if you're interested.

you can not make a v6 sound like a v8. all you can do is listen to sound clips in our stickies and decide what you like.
