buy a U-bend from summit for like 15 bucks and eather you or an exhaust shop cut it in the middle, flip 1 side and weld it up i forget the degree of the bend you need though
There is only one S pipe made for us from SLP if im not mistaken. Are you getting a shop to put this all together for you? If so I think they could make one for you. OR just get a U-bent pipe cut it in half and flip it. This is all in the stickys.

I'll be doing it all with a friend... so I'm pretty much getting everything together with clamps and runing it over to a shop for them just to weld up a few spots.
I cant afford a shop to install it all and I've put headers and a catback on a buddys car so I kinda know the drill. It's going to cost me alot less to just have them weld the Y-Pipe to the cat and the cat to the Catback once im done with it.
but I dont think you want to get it for 85 thats just crazy. The magna flow would be more convenient because of the S-pipe have ya gone to the stickys to listne to the sound clips.I like Flow master over magna flow but this set up is soon to change for me.

Plus you can see that S-Pipe is made for the stock Cat, but with my Borla cat theres no need for that flange. so theres also no point to pay extra for it. I guess im leaning towards the maganaflow... it seems to have the s-pipe.

can anyone confirm that for me?
all you have to do is cut off the flange and it will bolt right up to your cat.
or you can get a U bent peice of 3" pipe from jegs/summit and cut it in half, then flip one side over and weld it back together.
the latter will be cheaper.

I own an '02 camaro and i bought the flowmaster kit for it. it bolted right up to the back of my cat. in previous posts on this thread people are saying you need an s pipe. then my question would be this, is there a difference between the '96 exhaust and the 02 exhaust? if not i do not belive that you will need an s pipe. when i had the old one taken of we just hooked the new one right up, no prob. i would be intrested to know what you come up with.

I'll let you know. Im leaning alot towards the maganaflow kit. So ill let everyone know how it works out. Besides I think with the headers and the high-flow cat on there it wont sound to high-pitch.
